How OptionPay collects, uses and protects personal data for partners, merchants and website visitors in India (aligned with DPDP principles).
1. Scope
This policy applies to visitors of optionpay.in, users of related OptionPay marketing and partner experiences, registered partners, and individuals who contact our support channels.
OptionPay IT Solutions Private Limited (“OptionPay”) operates technology platforms for white-label fintech and digital services. Certain regulated payment, BBPS (Bharat Connect), AEPS, insurance or travel services may be delivered through authorised banking, NPCI ecosystem participants or other licensed partners under their own compliance frameworks.
OptionPay is a technology service provider. Unless expressly stated in a written agreement, OptionPay does not claim to be an RBI-licensed Payment Aggregator, Payment Bank, or NPCI COU/BOU in its own right.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use OptionPay, we may process:
- Registration details such as name, mobile number, email, business name and outlet address.
- Verification documents submitted during KYC or partner onboarding.
- Transaction metadata including amounts, references, beneficiary identifiers and settlement movements.
- Technical signals such as device type, browser, IP address, session logs and diagnostics.
- Support messages, complaint references and demo or contact form submissions.
3. How information is used
We use this information to:
- Authenticate users, issue OTPs and maintain secure sessions.
- Provide demos, onboarding and partner support.
- Route service requests to the correct provider where applicable.
- Calculate commissions, generate statements and support reconciliation.
- Detect suspicious activity and meet applicable legal obligations.
- Improve product reliability and website performance.
5. Retention
Records are retained for the period needed to operate your account, resolve disputes and satisfy financial or contractual record-keeping requirements. Some anonymised metrics may be kept longer for capacity planning.
6. Your choices (DPDP-aligned)
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Some records must be retained where law or dispute resolution requires.

7. Security
We apply role-based access, encryption in transit, session controls and operational monitoring appropriate to a B2B fintech technology platform. No method of transmission is completely secure; we work to reduce residual risk.
